September 25-28, 2008 the pro-Moscow regime has launched the parliamentary elections in Belarus. The regime violated the national Laws and carried on the electoral frauds on a large-scale. But despite all these unprecedented measures the elections didn't take place. The Belarusan electors didn't participate in the pool.

I appraise positively the interest of the European Council and the OSCE which are observing the parliamentary elections in Belarus. But I beg you to stop the pressure exercised on the participants of the electoral process in order to force them to take part in the elections and the false poll.

Recently the Austrian newspapers have published the information about the visits by Mr. Mikhail Marynich (Marinich) in Vienna in December 2006 and January 2007. They called him “one of the leaders of the Belarusan opposition”. Mr. Marynich has elaborated together with the Austrian colleagues a “new strategy for Belarus”.
